Sweat and iPhones don't mix!

I've been kind of slacking on posting lately, but I've been super busy with work, running, and surfing that by the time I settle down for the day all I want to do is lay on the couch and read to wind down. So blogging has been a bit lacking lately. However, here is a little story from 2 weekends ago:
I run with my iPhone strapped to my arm because that is where all my music is. I guess it is also good to have in case I fall and break my leg or something. On my 10+ mile runs where I get soaked in sweat from head to toe, the armband gets soaked as well and sweat gets all over my iPhone. I've been doing this for about 6 months with no problems at all; I just wipe the phone down and it is fine.
Well, two weekends ago I set out on my 12 mile run on a Saturday morning. It had rained that night, so I step outside and it is absolutely DISGUSTING! Close to 80 degrees and 1000% humidity. I finished my run and as I'm wiping down my phone, I notice it had turned off. Long story short, my phone eventually started working but the screen backlight wouldn't come on. Luckily I had warranty and it didn't cost me much to get a new replacement.
Moral of the story: sweat and iPhones don't mix!

Question:
Do any of you all run with an iPhone? If so, do you have a special sweat/waterproof armband you use with it? Have you had issues with sweat ruining your iPhone or other electronic device?

I do!!

I do!!

I have never had it shut off on me though. Truth be told I sweat buckets too. I use a Belkin case. I have always just given it a lysol wipe down when I'm done and it's been good.

I do, but its usually in a small ziplock baggy tucked in my fuel belt pocket and that works well for me

I don't have an iPhone, but I did lose an ipod to sweat. Hope you find a solution!
